Age is a factor that does not matter, at least for Tan Sri Chan Choong Tak, who at 70 has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) as the oldest to scale Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
Thirsting for more action, Chan went on to set another record as the oldest to conquer the treacherous King George's Peak of the Eastern Plateau of Mount Kinabalu on Aug 28 last year – when he was 71 years old.
