Summer delights

Eel and summer vegetables are the highlight at Benkay Japanese Restaurant, Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur, this month. Well known for its aphrodisiac qualities and soft, tasty flesh, eel can be savoured in several ways, though it is best eaten grilled. Another must-try is the Tomato Baked Broiled Eel – broiled eel and flavourful Japanese mushrooms are mixed together and stuffed into a Japanese tomato and baked to perfection. Priced from RM28++ to RM58++, the items are available for lunch and dinner. For reservations, call 03-2161 1111 ext 7210.
