More seniors applying for jobs to cope with rising cost of living


PETALING JAYA: A rising number of seniors are applying for jobs post-retirement to cope with the rising cost of living and a longer life expectancy, says Jobstreet by SEEK.

The online employment company’s managing director Vic Sithasanan said there has been a 13% rise in job applications from seniors aged 60 and above between January 2023 and the end of August 2024.
