Kuching Customs seizes RM800k worth of smuggled cigarettes


KUCHING (Bernama): The Royal Malaysian Customs Department says it confiscated 1.172 million sticks of smuggled cigarettes valued at RM261,560 on Friday (Jan 3).

Sarawak Customs director Datuk Sharifah Halimah Tuanku Taha said Sunday (Jan 5) that the raid was conducted on a house suspected of being a cigarette store that was not approved by Customs in Siburan.
