SMJK(C) Phor Tay student Dennis Koay, 17, captured two gold medals at the Penang Schools Sports Council (MSSPP) Archery Championship 2015 despite a lack of practice.

Dennis, who had stopped going for practice this year to fully focus on preparing for the SPM examination in November, was bang on target to win in both the boys’ Under-18 Olympic and overall individual events at the four-day championship which was held recently at the SMK Mengkuang school field in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
