The spirit of Ireland reached over 40 bars and pubs in our country during St Patrick’s season.

The St Patrick’s Day gala celebration by Guinness kicked off at The Square at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya in Selangor, where a lively Irish parade of bagpipers and drummers marked the start of a month-long rollout nationwide involving bars from Penang to Johor.

Guests enjoyed the festivity with mini games such as the Shamrock Toss, and took memorable photos with their friends at the photo booths.

“Guinness has long been at the heart of St Patrick’s Day,” said Guinness Malaysia marketing manager Joyce Lim.

“More than an Irish stout, it represents heritage, craft and the shared ritual of raising a pint together.

“This St Patrick’s, we invited stout lovers to come together to share stories, laughter and meaningful moments in celebration of the occasion.”

For over 260 years, Guinness has been part of St Patrick’s Day celebrations around the world.

This year participating outlets featured the “Double the Guinness” experience, inspired by the brand’s iconic two-part pour.

Customers who bought a Guinness draught received a token to take part in the challenge.

Participants who successfully matched the look of a perfectly poured pint received a Guinness Draught in a pint glass.
