THE Ramadan bazaar in Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP) in Rawang, touted as the longest in Selangor with 320 traders, offered a wide variety of food and drinks.

It was jointly organised by Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) and BTP developer, Low Yat Group.

The other partners were Platform Selangor (PLATS), which is a promotional and digital directory developed by the state government, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, Zone 18 Residents Committee and Bigfoot Festival.

MPS said in a media statement the bazaar was part of the local council’s Micro Traders Management and Empowerment Strategic Plan 2026-2030 to provide competitive business spaces.

The bazaar also offered comfortable dining and prayer areas to ensure everyone could enjoy a relaxing Ramadan atmosphere.

Also present at the launch held at the Paradise Fair shopping centre were MPS president Shahman Jalaludin, Selayang MP William Leong, Low Yat Group executive director Low Gee Soon and MPS councillors.
