PROPERTY developer Mitraland Group marked its 27th anniversary with a RM200,000 contribution to 18 non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The contributions, under its Mitraland C.A.R.E corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, were made during the group’s annual dinner held in Kuala Lumpur.

Mitraland C.A.R.E − which stands for Community, Aid, Response and Effort − is the group’s long-term commitment to community support, education and social assistance programmes.

In a press statement, Mitraland said it has disbursed RM5.3mil to date – charities, schools and community initiatives across the country.

In 2025 alone, the group donated RM431,200 to over 50 NGOs and organised several CSR activities, including the Monkiddo Monster Dash 2025 charity event which raised RM144,400 for four schools in Klang, Selangor.

During the annual dinner, RM10,000 was presented to Star Foundation as part of Mitraland’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with organisations that serve vulnerable communities.

Mitraland said strong partnerships with NGOs allowed for sustainable impact and long-term community development.

The company had also stepped up its sustainability practices in recent years, with an increasing focus on environmental, social and governance principles across its new developments.

This includes the adoption of GreenRE certification in its project design and delivery, aimed at promoting energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.

Among its projects, 22 Quartz Residences @ Setia Alam has received Silver GreenRE Certification, while Novva Nexus @ Gravit8 was awarded the Bronze rating.

The group also reported steady progress in project delivery, with several handovers completed ahead of schedule.

These include Lake 6 Entrepreneurs’ Park II, completed 13 months early and Air Hitam Entrepreneurs’ Park, handed over six months ahead of schedule.

Novva Nexus was launched in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Looking ahead, Mitraland is planning new projects in 2026, including a medium-scale industrial development in Dengkil catering to logistics, warehousing and light manufacturing sectors.

This will be followed by the Quartz Series Expansion in Klang, a 20.23ha landed strata residential project.

Also in the pipeline are two mixed-use developments – the 1.93ha Novva Residences project and a 1.9ha site in Subang – with the latter scheduled for launch in the final quarter of 2026.

Mitraland added: “We remain committed to shaping developments that are sustainable, high in value and socially responsible, guided by the principles embedded in our Mitraland C.A.R.E programme.”
