THREE new Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycles and 89 home electrical appliances await in a lucky draw for Klang ratepayers.

Mayor Datuk Abd Hamid Hussain said the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) lucky draw was being held for the first time to encourage people to settle their arrears and 2026 assessment tax by Dec 15.

“Only those who settle it online (at iPay MBDK) for the whole year without arrears will be eligible,” he said.

He said the city council was promoting the online method as a convenient way to pay while making collection effective and efficient in increasing revenue.

Klang deputy mayor Mohd Zary Affendi Mohd Arif said the lucky draw would offer approximately RM50,000 worth of prizes with the three motorcycles costing around RM18,000.

Ratepayers can make the payment via ipay.mbdk.gov.my
