MERDEKARYA

After more than a decade, Merdekarya is still at the forefront of promoting the indie music scene. Tonight, Propositions is in the house to deliver original pop-rock vibes.

Tomorrow night, indie fans are in for a treat with Big Mic Out, featuring, among others, I-Wei, Ariff Iskan­dar, Keith Kamalaraj, Samantha Ho, Marina and BMO Jam.

It’s a social night out next Tuesday, with the Blues Dan­cing Socials happening from 8.30pm onwards.

Rocker Kien Lim takes the spotlight next Thursday, while Azim Zain and His Lovely Bones get a little emo on stage next Friday night.

Next Saturday, Chelsia Ng takes the stage live at Merdekarya for a special performance presented by Triple One Music. Tickets for Chelsia’s showcase are priced at RM45 and can be purchased at www.merdekarya.com.

There is no cover charge except where indicated, but a minimum tip of RM10 for the musicians is expected.

On Sunday night, Ronnie is back on stage, performing songs by Bruno Mars.

On Monday night, Jao Tim’s Table Lamp Concert series returns, with David Soh and Gab J exploring a wide gamut of Disney favourites, while Tuesday sees Cowin, Ze Chou and Edison presenting a night of indie vibes.
