‘Large-scale smuggling fuels illegal e-waste operations in Perak’


Teh: Over 5,200 tonnes of illegal e-waste have been seized across Perak.

AUTHORITIES have seized more than 5,200 tonnes of illegal electronic waste (e-waste) after cracking down on 11 premises across Perak between January and August this year.

State science, environment and green technology committee chairman Teh Kok Lim said joint operations with General Operations Force targeted facilities in Kuala Kangsar, Perak Tengah and Batu Gajah.
