A PROPERTY developer has distributed 5,000 flags to more than 80 organisations, associations and government agencies in Seremban and Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negri Sembilan, as part of its Jalur Gemilang Raising campaign in conjunction with National Day.

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has also put up 1,000 Jalur Gemilang across its Bandar Sri Sendayan township, transforming the landscape into a striking showcase of national unity.

Matrix Concepts group executive director Kelvin Lee said the move reflected the company’s strong commitment to fostering unity, national pride and a shared sense of belonging across all levels of society.

“The Jalur Gemilang is a powerful symbol of our shared identity,” he said in a statement.

“By bringing people together under the campaign, we hope to ignite the spirit of Merdeka and reinforce the values of harmony and belonging.”

The effort also reflected the developer’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 promoting inclusive and peaceful societies, Lee added.

Among the public sector recipients were Seremban City Council (MBS), Port Dickson Municipal Council, Royal Malaysian Air Force base in Sendayan, Negri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department headquarters and district police headquarters.

At the grassroots level, the campaign reached village development and security committees, religious institutions, 50 residents associations and Adcote Matrix Malaysia school.

Matrix Concepts in collaboration with MBS will also host the second annual Matrix Malaysia Day Run on Sept 13, at d’Tempat Country Club in Bandar Sri Sendayan.

The statement said the run was not only a celebration of fitness and health but also part of ongoing efforts to foster unity and community engagement in conjunction with Malaysia Day.
