Various facilities transform scenic lake garden into vibrant recreational space

TAMAN Tasik Titiwangsa in Jalan Kuantan is a 46.13ha recreational park in Kuala Lumpur that is popular with locals and visitors.

Among its attractions are a playground, maze garden, canopy walk and scenic lake.

Construction on the site began in 1975 and the park was officially opened five years later on Feb 1, 1980, by the late prime minister Tun Hussein Onn.

Formerly known as Taman Jalan Kuantan, it was renamed Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, after the Titiwangsa Range.

Set against a naturally landscaped backdrop, the park includes a former mining pond and open spaces now filled with flowering plants and shady trees.

Thanks to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), the park has been transformed into a vibrant recreational space, with many amenities that attract visitors to come and spend time at the park.
