DBKL issues notice to two shops at Pertama Kompleks

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has taken action against two shops at Pertama Complex for the offence of placing tables and chairs on the five-foot walkway in public spaces.

The notices involved one shop that placed five tables and 20 chairs and another that placed nine tables and 18 chairs.

A DBKL representative said that the action is taken under Section 46 of the Street, Drainage and Building Act 1974, which prohibits placing items in public areas without proper authorisation.
