Boost for public transport in Putrajaya with MRT launch

Putrajaya workers and residents had a reason to cheer when the MRT Putrajaya Line was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and began full operations on March 16.

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) said the Putrajaya Line, which covers 36 stations from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral, carries about 130,000 passengers daily.
