Old prison site cleared for carpark

MBJB is clearing the land surrounding Ayer Molek prison to turn it into a temporary parking space during the upcoming Asia Pacific Regional Climate Change Week.

LOCATED in the heart of Johor Baru city, the 140-year-old Ayer Molek prison, which is no longer in use, will be turned into a temporary parking area.

This is to accommodate the upcoming Asia Pacific Regional Climate Change Week (APRCW) 2023.
