Mural at food court reminds patrons to be eco-conscious


The mural is 48m-long and was done by two artists assisted by 60 volunteers.

A MURAL measuring 48m-long was launched by Penang youth and sports committee chairman Soon Lip Chee at the Esplanade’s newly upgraded Medan Renong food court in George Town.

The mural, featuring environmentally-conscious messages like “Bring Your Own Bag”, “Bring Your Own Container”, “No Straw” and “No Single Use Plastic”, was completed under the Penang Youth Development Corporation’s (PYDC) Blank Canvas: Mural Art programme.
