Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is continuing its MBSA MySaveFood @ Ramadan Bazaar this year, with the third edition featuring two new Ramadan bazaar sites and revisiting one old location.
The programme features volunteers collecting unsold food from Ramadan bazaar traders and redistributing them to the needy, such as B40 families and the destitute (asnaf).

Mohd Azmi: The MBSA MySaveFood @ Ramadan Bazaar aims to reduce food wastage at Ramadan bazaars, help the needy and reduce the amount of food waste sent to landfills.
Amar: We want to share the message of not being wasteful, especially during Ramadan, as it is a time for spirituality and compassion for the needy.
Dr Mohd Azman: The programme offered an opportunity to educate UiTM students on food waste, putting into action what they learnt and connecting with society through hands-on work.
