KUALA LUMPUR: Touch ‘n Go Group received top honours as the Most Preferred Graduate Employer in the Fintech category at the recent Graduates’ Choice Awards (GCA) 2023.

In addition, the company was also recognised as one of the Top 25 Most Preferred Graduate Employers Overall.

The GCA is Malaysia’s most authoritative graduate employer brand awards as the results are determined solely by votes from Malaysian university students.

The awards tallied votes from Malaysian undergraduates from more than 100 public and private universities nationwide. This represents the largest consensus of young Malaysian voices, accurately capturing their future employment preferences from a variety of aspects, including the most preferred employer.

Erlny Greiss, chief human resource officer of Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd, who received the awards on behalf of the group, said, “The Graduates’ Choice Awards is one of the most significant recognitions for a company in the validation of its talent management and human resource initiatives and practices.

“These two awards are testament to the fact that today’s graduates believe in Touch ‘n Go as a reputable employer in the fintech industry and see the value of our transformation over the last few years.”

“We strive to build a compelling employer brand which is supported by effective leadership, high employee engagement and a high-performance culture,” said Erlny.

She added: “As part of our company-wide transformation, we have put tremendous emphasis on employee well-being and career development, as well as cultivating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.

“We will continue to focus on becoming a strong people-first employer fuelled by our DNA of love, entrepreneurship, agility and passion, and in doing so, provide a conducive environment in which our employees can thrive and build successful careers.”

The annual Graduates’ Choice Awards is organised and hosted by Talentbank in collaboration with the Higher Education Ministry and universities across Malaysia. This year close to 50 distinctive industries were recognised. The voting results were audited by the Board of Audit Committees before they were announced to the public.
