Drum performances will be held every Sunday at 2.30pm to generate adrenaline-inducing excitement with rhythmic thumping of drums and clashing of cymbals.
IPC Shopping Centre
The Petaling Jaya mall kicks off its lunar new year celebrations by transforming its winter-themed Christmas decorations to one that evokes the impressions of spring.
Giant bunnies and an enchanting garden are a draw for young ones at IPC Shopping Centre.
The mall used sustainable materials such as compressed wood boards, paper and fabric for its Christmas decorations that were then transformed for Chinese New Year.
Incorporating the five elements in Chinese metaphysics – metal, wood, water, fire and earth – the mall’s display illustrates the relationship of humans with the environment, where every action has an equal reaction.
Until Feb 5, visitors can enjoy activities such as sustainability-driven children’s workshops for Sma Club members, lion dance performances and meeting the God of Prosperity and Sma Club Buddies’ mascots.
