Bypass to ease flooding in Kg Tasek Permai

FLOODING along a 100m stretch in Kampung Tasek Permai, Ampang, near the new Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE), may soon be a thing of the past.

Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is constructing an underground drainage bypass along Jalan Taman Putra towards the monsoon culvert parallel to the SUKE to divert floodwaters.
