LIKE many houses of worship, the Church of the Immaculate Conception Johor Baru saw its collections dwindle amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Prior to the pandemic, on average, we received between RM10,000 to RM14,000 a month from celebrating mass (services),” said parish priest Rev Father Edward Rayappan.
