Bukit Kiara Longhouse units razed in fire

FIVE units of houses at the Bukit Kiara Longhouse in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Kuala Lumpur, have been destroyed by fire.

Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement on Monday (Jan 10) they received an emergency call at 11.47pm Sunday (Jan 9) night.

A total of 34 personnel from the TTDI, Sri Hartamas and Sentul stations were dispatched to the scene.

According to senior operations commander Letchumanan Mariapan in the statement, the fire completely destroyed the five units.

''Investigations on the cause of the fire are still ongoing,'' said the statement.
