MORE than 60 volunteers from Penang Buddhist Tzu Chi Merit Society Malaysia and other non-governmental associations helped set up about 1,000 beds at the low-risk Covid-19 centre (LRCC) at Mara Excellence Centre in Jawi, south Seberang Prai on mainland Penang.

Penang Buddhist Tzu Chi Merit Society Malaysia commissioner Khoo Boo Leong said the setup was completed at 2.45pm on Saturday.
