THE young children and their caregivers at Rumah Hope and Shelter Home were beaming with joy on receiving 100 care packages presented by Atria Shopping Gallery.
Containing essential items such as disposable face masks, soap, hand sanitiser, toothpaste, vitamin C, cereals, instant chocolate drink, mayonnaise, instant noodles and water bottles, the packages also came with cards handwritten by Atria’s loyalty programme members who participated in the cashless donation.
Supported by Atria’s partners and its key tenants, the charity campaign was aimed at providing crucial items to support the health and well-being of the most vulnerable amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The donation drive, which took place during Atria Members’ Month in October, saw loyalty programme members donating their points on the Atria loyalty app for a good cause.
“We strive to make a difference in society during these trying times as we understand that the less fortunate are the ones that are most affected in this once-in-a-century crisis, ” said Atria general manager Abby Choo.
“Therefore, in spite of the challenges that we are facing, we try to put a smile on faces because we are committed to caring for each other, ” she added.
