JOHOR BARU: The state government will come down hard on land and business owners who carry out open burning on their premises.
State local government, urban wellbeing and environmental committee chairman Tan Chen Choon said those caught flouting the law faced stern action, including the possibility of their land being seized under Section 129 of the National Land Code.
