Seven out of 15 new faces in Selayang council are women

NEARLY half of the 15 new councillors sworn in at the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) are women.

They were Choy Pooi Yee, Zuraidah Abdul Majid and Norridah A. Wahab from PKR, P. Mariammal S. Ponnusamy from DAP, Anfaal Saari from Amanah, and Datin Sharifah Salmah Syed Agil and Puspa Rizal Mohammad from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM).
