FROM the affluent neighbourhoods in Tanjong Bunga and Jesselton to Rifle Range where the state’s oldest low-cost flats are located, Bukit Bendera is a parliamentary constituency that has a wide spectrum of income groups among its 75,069 voters.

It is also the only parliamentary constituency in Penang with four state seats, from Tanjong Bunga with the highest number of voters at 21,768, followed by Kebun Bunga at 21,369 and Pulau Tikus and Air Putih at 18,423 and 13,509 respectively.
