Syabas: RM4k-plus water bill spike result of error in meter reading

Syabas says the stacked water meters at the shophouses of Taman Bukit Teratai, Ampang, could have caused its staff to misread it.

AN UNUSUALLY high water bill amounting to RM4,291.20 was recently issued to a resident of Taman Bukit Teratai in Ampang.

Loh Ah Chai, 63, who lives in a shophouse, said he was shocked to see the amount charged from Feb 16 to March 17.
