PROPERTY developer Binastra Land Sdn Bhd celebrated the launch of its latest project – Sinaran Wangsa Maju in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur – with an auspicious lion dance performance.

In addition to greeting the event’s VIPs, the pair of lions put on an exciting high stilts showcase and went around to bless the project’s show gallery, located nearby in Danau Kota.

Sinaran Wangsa Maju is a low-density project comprising one block with 206 serviced apartments.

The 34-storey building includes facilities such as BBQ terrace, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, multipurpose hall, games room and rooftop garden.

“We’ve sold about 90% of the apartments today,” said Binastra Land Sdn Bhd project director Steven Ooi, attributing the high demand to the project’s location in a matured neighbourhood.

The project site is surrounded by shopping centres, commercial areas, education institutions and hospitals. It is also close to LRT stations.

“We anticipate Sinaran Wangsa Maju to be an iconic building in Setapak, once it is completed in the first quarter of 2022,” said Ooi.

Sinaran Wangsa Maju features two sizes – a 725sq ft type with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and an 880sq ft type with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The price of one unit is between RM486,800 and RM629,800. The project is located on a 0.3ha piece of leasehold land.

“Sinaran Wangsa Maju has a gross development value (GDV) of RM110mil. Due to security concerns, we decided to build it as a purely residential project without any commercial elements,” said Ooi.

“The project is catered to first-time home buyers and young families. We also anticipate a lot of property investors, as the project is located within walking distance to Wangsa Maju LRT Station and Aeon Alpha Angle, and is near Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.”

He said the company’s emphasis was on value, in terms of what could be delivered to purchasers.

“We studied the locality to come up with the right packages and pricing,” said Ooi.

“We’ve added some green features such as LED lighting and using recycled water for the landscaping to reduce the building’s maintenance cost.”
