THE Sarawak Legislative Assembly’s long history came to the fore at a special one-day sitting on Tuesday, held as part of its year-long 150th anniversary celebration which kicked off last September.
The oldest legislature in the country dates back to the rule of the Brookes and is the largest as well with 82 elected members.
