FOUR members of the Hong Kong Police paid a courtesy call to the Rukun Tetangga (RT) Taman Gasing Indah in Petaling Jaya to understand how the RT carries out voluntary patrolling.
The stop in the neighbourhood was part of the officers’ four-day working visit to Malaysia.
Selangor Crime Prevention Foundation Petaling Jaya District chairman Eric Chew and several members of the Taman Gasing Indah volunteer patrol team gave the four officers a simple briefing on their patrolling activities.
The officers were acting Senior Superintendent (Aux) Hui Chun-Yim, Superintendent (Aux) Anna Lau, Chief Inspector Chloe Ho Pui-Pui and Senior Inspector Vienne Cheung Wai-Yan.
Representatives of Bukit Aman and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department as well as police officer Deputy Superintendent Foo Chek Seng were also present at the meeting held at a restaurant in Taman Gasing Indah.
