Brewer starts campaign to reward customers

TIGER Beer is ushering in the Year of the Dog with overflowing prosperity and togetherness through its Chinese New Year campaign.

“This festive season, Heineken Malaysia wants to gift its loyal consumers a memorable Chinese New Year experience.

“As this is a time when families and friends gather for reunion, we want to ensure that their celebrations will overflow with prosperity and togetherness.

“Hence, our campaign this year, themed May Your Year Overflow With Prosperity And Togetherness, is packed with opportunities for our loyal consumers to win with the range of brews in our portfolio,” said Heineken Malaysia managing director Hans Essaadi at the campaign launch.

Wishing everyone a fantastic start to the year, Essaadi announced that there would be more than RM2mil worth of prizes to be given away and RM6.3mil worth of surprises for loyal consumers to look out for throughout the campaign.

The campaign launch saw more than 300 trade partners and media gathered at Pinnacle Sunway Grand Imperial Royale Ballroom.

Essaadi got the evening rolling by making a grand entrance led by a stunning lion dance performance and followed by brand ambassadors.

He then placed a Tiger Beer bottle onto the launchpad to light up the brand’s logo as it turned into a water feature, officially kicking off the campaign.

Marking the festive season, the brewer’s senior management together with guests toasted to a bountiful year ahead and joined in a yee sang-tossing session.

Guests were entertained by the melodious voice of May Mow while enjoying the sumptuous Chinese cuisine served.

The festive air was enlivened with the God of Prosperity giving out mandarin oranges and fortune cookies while guests took the opportunity to pose for photos.

During this festive season, Tiger Beer and Guinness will have new packaging, making the Chinese New Year celebrations even merrier.

Consumers who fill their glasses with Tiger Beer and other Heineken Malaysia products at participating coffeeshops, food courts and Chinese restaurants can instantly redeem a pack of limited-edition Tiger Beer playing cards while also having the opportunity to take home prizes such as cash angpow worth RM99 or cans of Apple Fox Cider.

Those who purchase one 24-can pack of Apple Fox Cider and two 24-can packs of any other Heineken Malaysia products can bring home an exclusive Tiger Beer Mahjong set at RM99.

Additionally, shoppers who purchase a minimum of RM200 worth of Heineken Malaysia products at selected Tesco outlets in peninsular Malaysia are eligible to play a digital scratch and win game.

On top of that, three lucky participants will also score an opportunity to sprint around a Tesco store and fill their carts with items that will be paid by Tiger Beer.
