ART PRINTING WORKS BANGSAR

Celebrate this coming New Year’s Eve with Riuh in the City at Art Printing Works Bangsar. Thirty food stalls, live music, traditional dances and even an indoor picnic will be held for you to enjoy with your loved ones. What makes this celebration special is the art installations, featuring the works of local artists Nawwar Shukriah Ali, Aleff Ahmad, Nadhir Zuhair Nozi and Orang. Come join the fun starting at 4pm!

ONE SPACE @ ONE CITY

Usher in 2018 with retail lifestyle hub One Space@One City at 6pm on Sunday! There will be fireworks performance and a live band. That’s not all, Mr Bean will be making a special appearance, so grab the chance to snap a photo with him. The LED balloons giveaway is an added reason head there. Admission is free.

KLCC

As 2017 comes to an end, have an unforgettable experience counting down to the New Year at the KLCC Park. There will be performances by local artistes such as DJ Roundhead, Idayu Yaakob, and Alif Satar, as well as a dazzling 10-minute musical fireworks show at the stroke of midnight. Another thing to look out for will be the illuminated water fountain show that KLCC is known for. Everyone is welcome to the event held on Dec 31 at 6pm onwards. Admission is free.

Then head over to Dataran Putrajaya from Dec 28 to Jan 1 to experience the biggest lighting and motion festival in Malaysia where digital fireworks will light up the sky. Admission to the exhibition is free. Each day, the exhibition starts at 7.30pm and ends at 12.30am.

The annual New Year’s Eve countdown party at MDCC is back! Party with good music and dance to the tunes of local stars such as Kaka Azraff, Edwin Choo, Skyhigh and Twins. Plus, feast your eyes on the fireworks display as it lights up the sky above Mutiara Damansara at midnight. The event kicks off at 9pm. Admission is free.

Mutiara Damansara Commercial Centre (MDCC)The annual New Year’s Eve Countdown Party at MDCC is back Party with good music and dance to the tunes of local stars Kaka Azraff, Edwin Choo, SKYHIGH, Twins and more. Plus, feast your eyes with the largest fireworks display as it lights up the sky above Mutiara Damansara. It would surely be a sight to remember and start the new year with. The event kicks off at 9pm. Best of all, admission is free for everyone

SUNWAY CITY

For those living near Sunway City, head over to the countdown show tomorrow at 10pm with local artistes such as Nicole Lai, Fuying and Sam, SonaOne and Joe Flizzow, with Phat Phabes, Jaa and Wayne as hosts. Catch a variety of performances leading up to the countdown including dance, interactive games and a chance to win freebies. The celebration will culminate in a spectacular synchronised fireworks display at midnight. Admission is free.

There will also be dance and band performances by the likes of Crinkle Cut, Back2Basixx and Rejuvenate Dance Crew. DJ Xes Xes Loveseat, Rozz, Shawn Lee, DJ Thana will be making a special appearance as well. At exactly the stroke of midnight, be prepared for some spectacular fireworks display. Admission is free.

There will be reality games, face pantings, photobooths, arts and cultural performances starting from 4.00pm. Wondering where to bring your children to experience counting down to the New Year? Desa Park City has you covered with a wide range of activities catering for both adults and children. On Dec 30 and 31, street bazaars will be opened at various places in the mall while a children's fun zone will be set up at the Plaza Arkadia. Hours before ushering in the New Year, visitors will be able to watch live stage performances by dance groups and music bands. It all culminates with a fireworks display. Admission is free.

Desa Park City has you covered with a wide range of activities catering for both adults and kids. What’s more is that there is no admission fee for the event. A big fan of beatboxing? Then count down to the New Year with Shawn Lee, a world championship beatboxer. Malaysian artistes Abidah Noor, emcee Baki Zainal, and dance crew “RJVN” will provide the entertainment. Admission is free. Event starts at 8pm.
