Bina Puri gets infrastructure works for LRT extension

Bina Puri Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bina Puri Holdings Bhd, has won a tender to undertake a RM49.87mil project to construct and complete the infrastructural works on a site adjacent to Station 01 of the proposed extension of the Light Rail Transit Ampang Line to Putra Heights.

This latest award has increased the group’s total number of new projects secured this year to RM695mil.

The group’s unbuilt book order has now risen to RM2.01bil to date.

The infrastructure project was awarded by Brilliant Corridor Sdn Bhd on Nov 10. They have eight months to complete he project.

The site at Awan Besar at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, is being prepared for mixed development by Brilliant Corridor and Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana).

Group managing director Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng said the works entailed, among others, the construction and completion of a new main access road.
