Savour authentic Sichuan duck this month at Xin Cuisine, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Duck has been served in China since the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and is a central feature to Chinese cuisine over the centuries. This cuisine reflects the specialities of the Taishan and Chengdu sub-regions of Sichuan and Canton provinces. Xin Cuisine’s dish features duck marinated with salt, Chinese wine and herbs for an hour. It is then steamed for another one-and-a-half hours until the meat is soft. The duck is then deep-fried until its skin is crispy, then served boneless with mini bun and special sauce. This irresistible delicacy is available for lunch and dinner until July 31.
