FISHBALL noodles is probably comfort food at its best, and one enterprising individual has taken it to a whole new level by launching a chain of restaurants specialising in the noodles.

Continuing his father’s business to retain the original fishball recipe made from fresh wolf herring, founder Tan Ooi Koong established Ah Koong Restaurant in 1987 in Johor Baru, named after him.
