Taxi drivers lament drop in income

KUANTAN: The income of taxi drivers in the state has dropped by 30% since the introduction of e-hailing services by Uber and GrabCar.

Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob, however, has given taxi drivers the assurance that the Government will continue to help them through the Taxi Industry Transformation Programme (TITP) that was passed by the Cabinet in August last year.
