SAHABAT Alam Malaysia (SAM) and Penang Inshore Fishermen Welfare Association (Pifwa) are urging the Drainage and Irrigation Department to address water pollution problems in south Seberang Prai.
SAM president S.M. Mohamed Idris said SAM found that canals Parit D3 (Parit Paya Mahang B), Parit A3/PT.SIAM A3, Parit E2 (Parit Kg.Baru B) and several more in the district to be severely polluted.
