Indulge in all things Japanese this weekend at the Japan Expo Malaysia 2017 (JEMY 2017) – and that includes Pikatoro of pineapple-apple song fame.
Held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Fahrenheit 88, the three-day event features Japan’s most iconic cultural symbols, music, anime, art, education, fashion, food, travel and live entertainment under one roof.
Organised by G-Yu Creative Company, JEMY 2017 coincides with the 6th anniversary celebration of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Tokyo Street and the 60th anniversary of Japan-Malaysia diplomatic relations.
Visitors can look forward to an exhilarating experience as there will be a line-up of exciting performances at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur's concourse area.
Among the highlights is the meet-and-greet session with pop sensation Pikotaro, well-known for his viral song Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen or PPAP. He will be performing for the first time in Malaysia at the mall tomorrow (July 29).
Be ready to be star-struck with special performances and appearances by Japan’s artistes and teen idol groups, including Shigeru Matsuzaki, Maito from King Creamsoda, Ryoma Quartet, Naomichi Hanazono, Haruka Yamashita and Reno Kurosaki.
