Non-governmental organisations (NGO) that feed and collect donations for the homeless are urged to go through proper channels when carrying out their activities.

Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said these NGOs should make use of the Homeless Transit Centres set up by the ministry so that there was proper quality control over the goods donated, especially the food.
