RM500,000 for flood mitigation

Jalan Bunga Raya in Taman Kencana is often flooded after heavy rain as the drains cannot cope with the volume of water.

DRAINS along the flood-prone Jalan Bunga Raya in Taman Kencana, Ampang will be upgraded at a cost of RM500,000

Although the drains come under the administration of Public Works Department (JKR), the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has agreed to carry out the works as checks showed that the water spill-off originated from the nearby residential drainage that was under the council’s jurisdiction.
