CLAMPING illegally parked vehicles is more effective than issuing compounds, says Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan (YWP) consultant Datuk Nik Haidi Nik Mohamad.

YWP, the welfare arm of the Federal Territories Ministry, was appointed by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) last year to streamline the city’s challenging parking system.
