MIRI: A RM25mil wave breaker project will be implemented in the northern coastal waters off Miri to mitigate shoreline erosion and protect fishermen’s safety.
Sarawak Assistant Safety, Land and Air Transportation Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin said a wave breaker would be built in Kampung Batu 1, in Kuala Baram, to cushion the impact of waves and reduce damage they caused to fishermen’s boats.
