Kimono designer shares experience and expertise at talk in KL

“Please keep an eye on her. The kimono is made from pure gold, don’t let her walk out with it,” Kimono meister Nobuaki Tomita jokingly said to the crowd after putting on the kimono for a lucky member of the audience.

Tomita was recently in town for the “Kimono Lecture and Demonstration” event at the Akademi Seni Budaya Dan Warisan Kebangsaan (Aswara).
