For Samsung, this meant a campaign of activities to ensure workers from overseas are treated fairly.The company announced a new set of guidelines at the end of last year.
The Samsung Migrant Worker Guidelines with the support from BSR (Business for Social Responsibility), came to eradicate forced or coercive labor.
Following the move, Samsung conducted a training session in March which was attended by first-tier suppliers, labour sourcing companies and recruitment agencies.
