Villagers living in fear of elephant attacks

The appearence of two wild elephants at Batu 10 of Kampung Mawai Baru had caused damaged to villagers’ crops and vases here in Kota Tinggi.

KOTA TINGGI: Kampung Mawai villagers are living in fear following attacks by elephants that have been occurring more frequently recently.

Village representative Zamhizul Ariffin Muhyiddin, 34, said the elephants were now more brave, causing concern among the 3,600 villagers living there.
