Bishop hails Datuk title conferment by Selangor ruler

KUCHING: The rare conferment of the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor title to Anglican Bishop Reverend Datuk Bolly Lapok is a testament of the Selangor ruler’s priority to preserve solidarity among various religions.

Rev Bolly, who is the Bishop of Kuching, said Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah highly prioritised the preservation of the spirit of solidarity among subjects of various religions in his realm and the nation as a whole.
