MPKj to revoke licence of traders using polystyrene packaging

TRADERS who repeatedly flout the Kajang Municipal Council’s (MPKj) “no polystyrene packaging” ruling will have their licences revoked when it is enforced next year.

“In line with the Selangor government’s policy, we want to encourage traders and consumers to reduce the use of polystyrene packaging and plastic bags,” said MPKj president Mohd Sayuthi Bakar.
