SIBU: Contraband cigarrette and liquor smugglers are now using trailer lorries to bring items across the Sarawak-Kalimantan border to avoid being detected, said 10th Batallion General Operation Force (GOF) commanding officer Supt Hasnan Karim.
“By using trailers, the smugglers thought it would be easier for them to carry out their illegal operations,” he said at a press conference.
